HEPA Europe is a network that works for better health and wellbeing in the WHO European Region through more physical activity for all people. This Conference is the 11th and will focus on a wide range of issues, including policy, sports, active transport, determinants of physical activity, health outcomes, sedentary behavior, and many others.

Between 15 and 18 June 2021, Girona (Catalonia, Spain) will host both the 11th IUHPE European Conference on Health Promotion and the 6th International Conference on Salutogenesis. Given the situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference organizers are planning the events in online format (virtual attendance) with an online structure to facilitate the participation of professionals from different countries.

8th Global Healthy Workplace Summit. Virtual Summit.

NUI GALWAY HEALTH PROMOTION RESEARCH CENTRE organizes on Thursday 18th June its 24th Annual Health Promotion Conference. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Promoting health and wellbeing: creating a more equitable and sustainable environment’. In response to the risks and travel restrictions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference programme will be held virtually.

This Conference is a part of a PEROSH project on ‘Prolonging Working Life’ that was initiated in 2018. It aims to determine push and stay factors regarding labour market participation of elderly workers across different European countries. Free participation.

The Programme Organising Committee (POC) and the Boards of ASOI, EASO and WOF have worked dynamically together to create a vibrant platform which will bring together colleagues from every area of obesity research, prevention and management. Participants are clinicians, practitioners, physicians, nutritionists, surgeons and researchers – all experts and key opinion leaders in the field of obesity and its related conditions. The ECO-ICO2020 programme will include a mix of plenary lectures, oral communications, poster sessions and symposia.

The course focuses on the multi-component factors and conditions of importance for sustainable leadership, from a system perspective (individual – group – workplace – organization – society). In these aspects, the course focuses especially on contemporary challenges such as creating attractive, inclusive and innovative workplaces. The course also applies a hands-on perspective of managerial work to support application in practice.

International Conference on Salutogenesis organized by the International Union for Health Promotion and Education (IUHPE), its Global Working Group on Salutogenesis, the Society for Theory and Research on Salutogenesis (STARS), and the Center of Salutogenesis (CoS) of the University of Zurich (UZH).
