Recent Advances in Medicine Relating to Risk Assessment in Insurance

London, United Kingdom

This conference is aimed at all those interested in the field of life and disability assurance. Emphasis will be given to modern approaches to diagnosis and treatment, in addition to rehabilitation of the disabled to help them return to work whenever possible. It is therefore appropriate at this time of increasing claims, that the programme should focus on the assessment and treatment of some of the most important issues leading to claims as well as forecasting future trends in cancer, H.I.V. and connective tissue diseases. Updates on cardiovascular imaging, cardiovascular risk assessment and the impact of increasing longevity on insurance round off this all day conference.

Audience: Medical Officers of insurance companies, general practitioners, social security doctors, occupational physicians, underwriters, claims managers, actuaries and para-medical personnel involved in both the examination of applicants for insurance and the assessment of disability claimants.
