The third conference about "Wellbeing at Work" will be held in Copenhagen, from 26th to 28th May 2014 and is arranged by The National Research Center for the Working Environment (NRCWE). The conference aims to bring together state of the art knowledge from psychology, epidemiology, physiology, and occupational and social medicine to articulate a coherent research agenda on wellbeing at work that is able to capture the challenges at the labour market facing many Western countries.

NIDMAR, the National Institute of Disability Management and Research, provides several short online courses in May and June for people whose work responsibilities include assisting workers who have incurred disabilities with an early, safe and productive return to work. The 2nd Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit will take place in Shanghai, China, in April 2014. On 3-4 April 2014, the first European Chronic Diseases Summit, entitled "Addressing the medical, social and economic burden of chronic diseases in the EU", will take place. It will focus on innovation, prevention and disease management strategies.

Organised by the Harvard School of Public Health, this program is designed for professionals with direct responsibility for worker health and safety. Participants gain the skills necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of workplace health strategies, translate this evidence into practice, and implement these strategies to design health promotion and occupational health and safety programs. The Healthy Workplaces Summit will bring to a close the two-year EU-OSHA pan-European Healthy Workplaces Campaign on the topic of "working together for risk prevention", raising awareness of the importance of managment leadership and worker participation for improving health and safety at work. Since April 2012, the campaign has initiated and supported a wide range of activities at both European and national level to promote this important topic across Europe's workplaces. On 22-23 October 2013, the 9th ENWHP initiative 'Promoting Healthy Work for Employees with Chronic Illness - Public Health and Work (PHWork)' will be concluded with a large conference in Brussels. The aims of this conference are to raise further awareness about the impact of chronic diseases on the labour market and the social security and to exchange and improve knowledge and cooperation of all stakeholders about the possibilities to retain workers with a chronic disease, or facilitate their return to work.
