Activities of the Bulgarian Forum

February 12, 2004, Sofia, NCPHP; First National Conference of BF "HSW":
202 participants from partner organisations (governmental and nongovernmental), staff of Occupational Health Services and companies.
Results: increased publicity of the forum, strengthening and enhanced support and participation of all interested parties. New channels for communication (new web site) and new materials on WHP (handbook on WHP v. I, articles in journals, two brochures on WHP).; organised course for post graduate education "WHP - the practice in European countries". Anonymous questionnaire. Press Conference.

December 8, 2006, Sofia, NCPHP; Second National Conference of BF "HSW" with the First Bulgarian specialised seminar on WHP of the ENWHP under the motto "WHP - a tool for successful business in healthy and safe working conditions in Europe":
98 participants from national stakeholder organisations (decision makers, representatives of employers and employees organisations, labour inspectors), company managers on workplace safety and health, experts in  OHS Service providers; scientists and educators on OH.
Results: Motivating information on WHP through lecture of Dr. Reinhold Sochert (ENWHP); presentations of four Bulgarian good company practices; "Ideal Standart -Vidima" Ltd. in Sevlievo, "Cumerio Med" Ltd. in Pirdop, "Druzhba -glassware plants" Ltd. in Plovdiv and "Energia" Ltd. in Targovishte; two bulletins presenting the same information in a printed form in Bulgarian and brochures/leaflets on WHP. Group discussion. Anonymous questionnaire. Press-conference. At the conference was introduced the start of the seventh ENWHP initiative - "Move Europe campaign" in Bulgaria (2006 - 2009 year).

July 9,2009      Third Conference of BF"HSW" with the Second ENWHP      
Sofia,NCPHP    Roundtable meeting on WHP under the motto "Healthy 
                            work - healthy lifestyle - healthy business":

65 participants from national stakeholder organizations (decision makers from the MH and MLSP, labour inspectors), company managers on human resources and safety and health at work, services providers (OHS), scientists and educators on occupational health. The expected results (strengthening the positions of ENWHP, NCO - Bulgaria and BF"HSW" as competent structures -experienced in WHP; presenting the results of the seventh ENWHP initiative "Move Europe" campaign; introducing the start of eighth ENWHP initiative - "Promoting Good Practice for Mental Health at the Workplace") were achieved through six presentations (R. Sochert, ENWHP, "The contribution of WHP to a health and safety working environment: experiences from Germany"; T. Haratau, ENWHP, "WHP within the Romanian development regions "Centre" and "West"; Z. Zapryanov, NCO, "Results of the Move Europe Campaign in Bulgaria. Impressions from the 6-th European Conference on  promoting Workplace Health, Perugia, Italy, 27-th and 28-th April 2009"; P. Bosadjiev, HRM and OHS expert in "Optix" Co, Panagyurichte, "Bulgarian MOGP - Role of the innovative style in the development of comprehensive WHP practice" ; Sv. Gjokova, OHS expert, "Progress"JSC, Stara Zagora, "Bulgarian MOGP - A successful tradition to achieve physical, mental and organisational health through quality management system, experienced line managers and workers participation"; R. Sochert, ENWHP," The start of the Eighth ENWHP initiative in Bulgaria- MentalHealthWork project: Promoting Good Practice for Mental Health at the Workplace for a period 2008 - 2010 "), roundtable discussion, press - conference, printed materials ( two bulletins for express information containing the presentations, the facts and figures sheet of "Move Europe", press - information), badge and invitation for the starting new initiative, certificates, anonymous questionnaire.
