TNO Work and Employment plays an important role in Europe's health and safety research. In the Netherlands, we are the leading institute on research and consultancy in the field of occupational safety and health (OSH).

We seek and develop innovative approaches to work, organization and technology and draw on its knowledge to address conditions in the workplace. TNO Work and Employment embrace an integrated approach to human resources, organisation and technology in pursuit of its primary mission: the creation of conditions which will allow employees to work in a productive and healthy way.

With the synergy that results from combining its crucial role as a national research institute and its engagement with the private sector, TNO Work and Employment occupies a unique, central position in the area of strategic and complex labour issues.
