Italian NCO - National Contact Office
ISPESL, through the Department of Occupational Medicine, is the National Contact Office of the ENWHP
As National Contact Office of the ENWHP, ISPESL has played an important part in the development of the network, participating in all activities and meetings. Particularly, ISPESL contributes experience on the promotion of workplace health issues in southern European countries, with research, promotion activities and information dissemination about ENWHP and WHP network activities among Italian regions, local health agencies and national enterprises.
In 2001, during the Syracuse Conference on "Health and Safety Promotion in the Workplace" and within the European Symposium on Health Promotion in Southern European Countries, the Sicily Decalogue was produced.
Since 2009, the Italian NCO has been involved in the ENWHP 8th Initiative (2008-2009) with the campaign Lavorare in sintonia con la vita (Work. In tune with life).
The national information day on WHP has been organized once a year by the Italian National Contact Office since 1998.. The 2010 Information day is dedicated to the mental health in the workplaces and to launch the mental health campaign Lavorare in sintonia con la vita (work. in tune with life. move Europe)
